The IMC (Instructional Materials Center) and the graduate program in Educational Media and Technology are closely linked. Alumni of this program use their knowledge of education and learning to design and implement instructional materials in Pre K-12 classrooms, higher education, publishing, medicine, government, and business training environments world-wide.
The program in Educational Media and Technology offers both master's and doctoral degrees within the Curriculum & Teaching Department. Under current regulations, applicants who already hold a classroom teaching certificate may pursue a master's program leading to certification as an instructional technologist. Courses are open to other program majors, as their schedules and space allow.
