Partner Schools
| A diverse group
Massachusetts public schools are collaborating on the
PT3 grant with Boston University. These K-12 schools benefit
directly from their involvement with student teachers that
receive grant-sponsored training in educational technology,
from support in resource development for technology and curriculum
integration, and from training their own faculty and staff
receive in supporting teaching and learning with technology.
These relationships multiply the effect of the grant program
by disseminating the serious work of improving teaching and
learning with technology generated by the grant consortia. Our
partner schools also contribute to the grant through making
presentations to our faculty on many aspects of current and
planned use of technology in their schools. They inform us
on their school's existing practice in technology and curriculum
integration, their facilities and infrastructure, existing
personnel, especially technology integration specialists,
any criteria for the use of technology by teachers or support
personnel for hiring and/or promotion, and the kinds of software
being used among other topics. They also report back to the
teachers and administration of their home school or district
on the activities and use of technology presented as part
of the training in the BU-PT3 grant. |
